RSVP: Social at Pushkin House, 7 December 2023

Join us on Thursday 7 December for the next Social at Pushkin House. Taking place on the first Thursday of each month at our bar, the Socials are hosted by prominent cultural figures, activists, authors and others, who will bring you a varied and engaging evening.

Our December Social is led by political scientist Dr Ben Noble, Associate Professor of Russian Politics at University College London in School of Slavonic and East European Studies, and Associate Fellow at Chatham House. He is the series editor of New Perspectives on Eastern Europe and Eurasia, published by Hurst and a co-author of Navalny: Putin’s Nemesis, Russia’s Future (Hurst and Oxford University Press, 2021), which was shortlisted for the Pushkin House Book Prize 2022.

Join us on Thursday 6 July for the next Social at Pushkin House. Taking place on the first Thursday of each month at our bar, the Socials are hosted by prominent cultural figures, activists, authors and others, who will bring you a varied and engaging evening.

Our July Social is led by Office for Comparative Reality, a design-research laboratory, focusing on the question of manipulation of realities reflecting political upheavals and technological innovations connected to existing power structures. The space of the Pushkin House bar will be occupied with a multimedia installation that explores fake and mimicry as core features of political propaganda, sabotaging our perception of reality.

A Networking Event For Central And Eastern European Creatives

Pushkin House and Centrala invite you to a regular networking event for Central and Eastern European Creatives, supported by funding from Culture Central.

The CEE Creatives Network exists to support the Central and Eastern European migrant creatives currently working in the UK arts and culture sector. Through the structure of a centralised database, this network brings together creative peers to self-promote, collaborate, and share opportunities – whether working in art, music, production, or any range of disciplines.
